Wizcrafts privacy policy and technical details:
We respect the privacy of our visitors and do not share or sell any information about them with anyone.
We do NOT use any hostile applets, or hostile scripts, or spy on our visitors.
Wizcrafts displays advertising banners and text links from various select software and service sponsors, with whom we are affiliates via Commission Junction and other affiliate services, and which have their own privacy policies as stated on their respective websites.
Commission Junction and other affiliate programs sometimes use 1x1 pixel tracking gifs (invisible images, so-called web-bugs, or web beacons), with their text and banner ads for the purpose of keeping track of sales or trial download transactions. This is done so that Wizcrafts is credited for commissions on purchases made by clicking on an ad on our website. These gifs are not used to track your surfing habits to any other websites than those of the affiliated sponsor. You are not being spied upon by the Commission Junction gifs. The sponsors' websites may also deposit a "cookie" on your hard drive, which is used to keep track of trial downloads or purchases, and is used to credit commissions for followup sales that occur after the initial download is made.
About "cookies":
A "cookie" is a harmless text file, which is deposited onto your hard drive by various commercial, educational, or membership websites. They contain encoded information pertaining to your visit to a particular website, including downloads or purchases you make there, ads you click on (for their commissions), or particular product or subject pages you visit / revisit. Cookies can also be used to save login information so you don't have to type in a username and password each time you revisit a site that requires members to login, or to display an ad for a product that you previously read about. Cookies are important tools for conducting business on the Web, especially when used to keep track of trial software downloads which may turn into purchases in 30 days or so. A cookie that tracks trial software from a referrer is used to credit the account of the referrer (like us!) if a license is purchased at the end of the trial period. Cookies are only readable by the website that sets them on your computer, and other websites cannot read cookies they didn't place on your hard drive. Because they are merely text files you can read your cookies in any text reader (ex: Notepad) you have on your computer. Note that most cookies are encrypted for security purposes.

We have chosen our commercial sponsors on the basis of their usefulness and value to our customers, and we would be pleased if you choose to make a purchase through a banner, or text link displayed on our website.
DEALINGS WITH OUR ADVERTISERS:
Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers found on or through our website, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and the advertiser. You agree that Wizcrafts shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such advertisers on our website.
NOTICE: You, or a third party who has software installed on your computer, may not modify the materials of this Site in any way whatsoever, may not in any way add or modify outbound hyperlinks, or modify or add any code or any functionality to the pages or to the content of this Site.
Technologies employed in our website:
Technically, this website uses iframes (not the hostile type), tables (where needed), positioned DIVs, animated GIFs, a few Java applets, Javascript for form validations and text display effects, and Cascading Stylesheets (CSS) for text controls and positioning of elements.
Our web pages use "ALT" image-descriptions for text readers for the sight-impaired, PDA's or non-graphical browsers. Any unlabeled graphics are either invisible spacers or compensation tracking gifs.
Most of our text sizes are relative, not fixed, and allow you to choose whatever size is comfortable for your viewing. Our few preset text size controls can be overwritten by most browsers via a checkbox to ignore a website's stylesheets, or to use your own stylesheet, should you write one. These are usually found in the "Accessibility" section of your Internet Options on your browser. You can also vary the overall text sizes by using the Text Size formatting controls on your browser. In Internet Explorer this is under the "View" menu item. In Mozilla browsers press CTRL + or CTRL - to increase or decrease font sizes.
While our web pages are designed to be compatible with most existing browsers in general use, they are best viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or newer, Netscape 6 or newer, or Mozilla, or Firefox, with Java, Javascript (active scripting in IE 5.x) and Stylesheets enabled. If you are using Internet Explorer 6.0+ you may need to download an add-on Java support module to see Java applets. However, if you upgrade from a previous Java-enabled IE version to version 6, Java support will be installed automatically.
The Microsoft Java Virtual Machine has been discontinued and is no longer available for downloading. However, the owners of Java technologies, Sun Corp, are continuing to develop the virtual machine and improve upon it. The official Sun Technologies Java Plugin can be downloaded from here. This plugin is your best bet if you do not already have the MS Java Machine, in fact, it is better then the MS version which only performs correctly in Microsoft browsers on Windows platforms (and is discontinued).
Our website will still function without these technologies enabled, but some special functions, applets, dynamic effects and text controls will be unavailable. If you are using an outdated browser I recommend upgrading to a current version, no matter what the brand. Improvements are made constantly, with new version numbers representing major changes and improvements.
Get Firefox, a free, state-of-the-art, standards compliant, secure web browser, with tabbed browsing.
Some of the outdated browsers still in common use are Internet Explorer versions prior to 5.01, and all Netscape versions prior to 6.0. The Opera browser is also regularly updated and improved, with version 6.01 released as of this writing. Technology is not standing still! Some people with older versions AOL (earlier than AOL 6) are still using browsers based on technology from the 1990's, which is light-years behind by Internet standards!
* Wizcrafts recommends users of Microsoft Internet Explorer use their built-in "Windows Update" feature, while online, to get the latest upgrades and critical security patches for Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. "Windows Update" is currently located on your IE 5.x and 6.x browser under the "Tools" menu item, in the top section. It is also usually found on the Start Menu (Start Button), in the top section, above "Programs."
Due to the huge increase in the number of viruses, worms and Trojans in the wild, we highly recommend that you obtain the latest version of a major anti-virus program, and if the option exists, configure it to automatically check for and apply new virus definitions whenever you are online. Also, engage the E-mail protection function (for Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape Messenger, Mozilla Thunderbird, and many other email programs), if that feature exists. If you are using Norton Anti-Virus you should also run the manual "Live Update" feature at least one a week to check for program updates that are not applied by the automatic updates feature. I also recommend upgrading to the newest release of this, or any other brand of anti virus program.
We also recommend the use of a software or hardware firewall, to protect your computer, or network, against programs that could be uploaded to it by malicious hackers, then used in Distributed Denial of Services attacks, or otherwise take over its functions or steal valuable data. There are links to two software firewalls on my "Links" page and a description of them on my FAQ's page.

Angry recipients of the spam will blame and possibly report the wrong person, because they have not learned to decipher email headers to find the real source of the spam. Hide explanation
